What FootprintEdge is
FootprintEdge organizes public-record-derived commercial intelligence about business locations, opening signals, lifecycle stages, and vendor buying windows. The intelligence concerns businesses and locations; it is not intended to profile people or make decisions about individuals.
Information you choose to provide
Early-access and alert forms collect an email address, consent record, request type, the page where the request began, and any city, category, vendor lens, or plan selection shown in the form. We use this information to record requested product interest, evaluate demand, and contact you only about the request you consented to receive. Customer accounts and billing are not active, so we do not collect account passwords or payment-card information.
Houston validation measurement
The Houston commercial-signage experiment uses first-party, aggregate measurement. It stores a random visit identifier, a coarse source category, and yes-or-no engagement flags for credible time, evidence, methodology, pricing, and a qualifying interest conversion. It does not store names, email addresses, phone numbers, raw referrers, IP addresses, or user-agent strings in the measurement table. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, automation, and an on-page measurement opt-out prevent the browser measurement from running. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request metadata to deliver and protect the site under their own service terms.
Public records and operating data
We process public business, license, application, and permit records and preserve source-health, ingestion, material-event, and evidence-backed outcome history so the intelligence can be reviewed and audited. Public records may include business or applicant information published by the source.
Sharing and sale
We use infrastructure providers to host the application and database. We do not sell personal information, use personal information for targeted advertising, or share lead identities in the public product. We may disclose information when required by law or needed to protect the service.
Current retention
Lead captures and anonymous Houston measurements currently remain until an authorized manual deletion or a later approved retention process. Operational and outcome records are retained as an audit history; outcome observations and resolutions are append-only. No automatic deletion schedule is active. We review stored information against its validation, operating, legal, and audit purpose before commercial launch and document any approved change before applying it.
Your choices
You can avoid the Houston measurement by using the ?measurement=off query parameter, enabling Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or blocking site storage. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or consent withdrawal, use the current instructions on the Contact & Support page.
Changes
We will update the effective date and this page when our data practices materially change.
